Sharing a Vision of Excellence
McLean Hospital's Vision of Excellence Award is an opportunity for the hospital community to show its appreciation for employees who contribute to the overall excellence of McLean. The six individuals selected this year exemplify McLean's longstanding commitment to superior patient care, research and teaching.
| Peter Paskevich, vice president for Research Administration, has always focused on advancing the hospital's research mission. "Pete is everything you could ask for in a colleague. He is knowledgeable, helpful, responsible and a truly good person. We get compliments about him constantly, from investigators, government agencies and industry representatives nationwide." |

| Kris Collins, administrative secretary for Neurology, is often described as the "glue" that holds the department together. "Despite the stress and strains of her job as the 'point person' between Neurology, referring physicians and patients, she fulfills her many responsibilities with warmth, patience and a smile. We are lucky to have her." |

| Millie Regan, administrative secretary for Human Resources, has a reputation for being meticulous. "She does her job with expertise, making it look easy. She is a true team player who is always willing to go the extra mile. She prides herself on doing a job well done-whether it is planning the hospital's annual service award ceremony or managing the department's main office." |

Joanne Manfredi, administrative secretary for Ambulatory Services, loves her job and is quick to let people know it. One of the reasons is because she considers her coworkers an extended family. "Joanne is very dependable and is always there when you need her. The real bonus is her personality and temperament."

| Laura Neves, public affairs associate, has a warm smile, a positive attitude and a kind heart-attributes that have helped her excel in her work. "Her personality and courteousness shine through when she is dealing with patients, employees and visitors. She is a true professional." |

| Sandy Talanian, MSW, clinical case manager for the Dissociative Disorders and Trauma Program, is often the "turn-to" person because of her kind and caring demeanor. "Sandy plays an integral role on the unit. Even during the most trying days, she is someone both patients and staff look to for support." |
