- Degree(s): Anita received her B.S. in Psychology from Washington State University (1996) and her Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience from Oregon Health & Science University (2004).
- Bio: At McLean Hospital her primary focus is on understanding the role of glial cells in depression, anxiety and alcoholism. She collaborates very closely with Drs. Bruce Cohen, Dost Öngür, and Bill Carlezon. Her research is funded in part by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, the National Institute of Mental Health, and a 2010 NARSAD Young Investigator Award.
