- Bio: Anne received her B.S. in Biology from Boston College. She worked as a research assistant at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center in the Department of Biochemistry and Developmental Biology, where she assisted Dr. Miyuki Yamamoto in in vitro studies to characterize stage specific molecules involved in axonal growth in the developing CNS. In 1992 she joined the laboratory of Dr. Victor Shashoua at CereMedix Inc., here she assisted Dr. Shashoua in in vitro studies of neuroprotective peptides as potential rescue and repair therapies for ischemic stroke. Anne began working at McLean Hospital in 2002 in the Department of Molecular Neuropathology where she assisted Dr. Anne Cataldo in in vitro studies related to the role of the endocytic pathway and lysosomal system in APP processing and abeta generation in Alzheimer's Disease. Anne recently joined the Laboratory of Translational Neuroscience and is participating in in vitro studies relating to a role for extracellular matrix abnomalities in Schizophrenia.
