- Degree(s): Allison received her B.Sc. in Biochemistry in May of 2003 from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and her undergraduate research focused on the role of MAP kinase in ischemic cell death.
- Bio: In the Behavioral Genetics Lab, Allison performs studies designed to examine the role of dynorphin, an endogenous opioid, in depression and anxiety-like behaviors in rodents using neuroanatomic tract tracing and the fear potentiated startle paradigm.
