- Bio: Anna Sromek received her B.S. in chemistry from the University of Chicago in 1996 and worked at Technical Coatings Co. before joining the Ph.D. program at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1998. She received her Ph. D. in Organic Chemistry from Professor Gevorgyan in 2005. She left UIC at the end of 2006 to take a position at JCL Bioassay, Inc. (Japan). In 2008, she joined Dr. Neumeyer's group as a NIDA Research Fellow.
