Dr. Brian Fulton received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry in 1985 from Dr. George Kraus at Iowa State University. After studying bioorganic and biochemical aspects of the mammalian visual cycle at Harvard Medical School in the laboratory of Dr. Robert Rando, he spent the next eighteen years in the chemical industry working at Macrochem, Spectra Science, ArQule, Cerep (France), and Polaroid. He has worked in all areas of organic chemistry from medicinal and combinatorial chemistry to process development and kilogram synthesis. Dr Fulton has twelve publications and presentations.
His research interest broadly encompasses the use of organic chemistry as a tool for studying the etiology of neuropsychiatric disorders.
