- Office Address: Molecular Pharmacology Laboratory, MRC 331
- Degree(s): Diane received her M.S. in Biochemistry and Genetics coupled with a Master's degree in Life Science Engineering from Agrocampus Rennes-E.N.S.A.R.(France) in June, 2007.
Her undergraduate research focused on the effects of stimulant drugs on rats' behavioral inhibition using a Stop Signal Task. Then she studied molecular biology techniques with Michèle Darmon, Ph.D. at the Neuropsychopharmacology Laboratory at Pitié-Salpêtrière Faculty of Medicine in Paris (France).
Her Master's Thesis was supervised by Elena Chartoff, Ph.D. and Bruce Cohen, M.D., Ph.D. at McLean Hospital and entitled "Investigation of the neural circuits activated in the striatum by the highly selective kappa agonist salvinorin A." She presented this work at the Society for Neuroscience Meeting at San Diego in November 2007.
- Bio: Currently she is working with Anne Cataldo, Ph.D., Elena Chartoff, Ph.D.and Bruce Cohen, M.D., Ph.D. on the potential of adult bone marrow stem cells to support brain cell regeneration.
