Bio: At the Fraenkel lab in the Biological Engineering Department at MIT, Deepika participated in in vitro studies to investigate the role of HSF-1 in polyglutamine toxicity and transcriptional dysregulation in Huntington's disease. She recently joined the Laboratory of Translational Neuroscience and is working with in vitro models to study the role for extracellular matrix abnormalities in Schizophrenia.
