- Bio: Dr. Laura Frakey received her doctorate in clinical psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology from the University of Florida. She completed her neuropsychology internship training at Brown University. She was awarded a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Service Research Award from NIMH, which funded her two-year post-doctoral research fellowship in geriatric neuropsychology at Brown University. This research involved a clinical trial investigating a novel pharmacological intervention for symptoms of apathy in patients with mild to moderate dementia.
