- Degree(s): Lauren is a senior Neuroscience and French major at Bates College. Her senior thesis will examine the role of kappa opioid receptors in rats subjected to morphine withdrawal.
- Bio: Lauren is interested in neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer's Disease. After college, she plans to pursue a graduate degree in Neuroscience. In the Behavioral Genetics Lab, Lauren studies the role of the prefrontal cortex in attention and motivation.
