Mary Kathryn (Kate) Dahlgren began working for the McLean Hospital Brain Imaging Center in 2006, after graduating from Smith College with a double major in Psychology and Neuroscience. She is currently the senior clinical research coordinator for the Cognitive and Clinical Neuroimaging Core (CCNC) where she has developed skills in administering clinical rating scales, creating and implementing neurocognitive paradigms for use during MR imaging and in the advanced application of MR imaging techniques to various subject populations. During her tenure with the CCNC, she has facilitated numerous aspects of clinical research from programming new cognitive testing paradigms to advanced statistical analyses of multiple datasets. Kate is also pursuing a doctoral degree in experimental clinical psychology at Tufts University, and is particularly interested in identifying predictors of treatment response and relapse in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other psychological disorders.
