Mission Statement
The Irene Pierce Stiver Psychology Alumni Association, named in honor of the founder of the McLean Psychology Department, strives to bring its membership closer together as a professional community, to introduce alumni to the current interns and postdoctoral fellows, and to promote an ongoing vital relationship with McLean Hospital.

The Irene Pierce Stiver Psychology Alumni Association News is an annual newsletter delivered to all members of our readership. Regular features include important McLean Hospital updates, an Innovations Corner, an Author's Corner, an Alumni Class Notes section, periodic Alumni Profiles and a section on McLean Trivia compiled, in part, by Terry Bragg, McLean Archivist. The Alumni Association News has recently upgraded to a vibrant, multi-colored format. The Alumni Association News is collaboratively produced by Cecelia O'Neal, Marketing and Business Development Operations Director and Rob Youngberg ('94), Alumni Association Co-Chair.

Class Representatives
The Irene Pierce Stiver Psychology Alumni Association is comprised of approximately 275 graduates. To simplify communication across our growing membership, we have asked one person from each graduating class to serve as Class Representative. It is the Class Representative's responsibility to send annual e-mails to former interns and post-doctoral fellows requesting personal and career updates for the Alumni Class Notes section of the newsletter. In the past, Class Representatives have played an important role in locating transplanted and missing alumni. We are greatly indebted to them for their ongoing efforts.

Annual Social Event
The Irene Pierce Stiver Psychology Alumni Association hosts an evening social for alumni and friends at the Annual Convention for the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies. This event provides an opportunity to reconnect and network with fellow graduates and senior training faculty. A good time is always had by all.
