Conference to Focus on Working Women

February 12, 2001 -- Belmont, MA -- McLean Hospital, The Center for Women's Psychological Health (CWPH) and the Harvard Medical School Center of Excellence in Women will sponsor a day-long conference titled, "Advancing Women at Work: Leadership and Power in the 21st Century" on Friday, March 2. The conference will address a wide range of topics, including women's careers in medicine and law, gender issues in the workplace, the search for dignity at work and the importance of making and maintaining relationships among professional women.

The conference will be held from 8 am to 5 pm at the Museum of Our National Heritage, 33 Marrett Road, Lexington. Three optional workshops will be offered immediately following the conference, focusing on "Managing Conscious and Unconscious Stress in Women's Lives," "The Challenge of Intimacy with Dual Career Couples" and "You are the CEO of Your Own Life: Ten Ways to Put Your Career in the Fast Forward without Giving up Your Life."
