Belmont, MA - Please contact your local representative today with the following message, asking for their support of Amendment #135, which would provide appropriate increases in Medicaid payments to McLean Hospital and other hospitals that are part of the state's Medicaid inpatient behavioral health network.

Thank you for restoring funding for the state’s FY2003 Department of Mental Health budget.
I now ask that you please support Amendment #135, which would increase payment rates for Medicaid patients to McLean Hospital and other hospitals that are part of the state’s Medicaid inpatient behavioral health network, according to current medical inflation rates. The amendment would also provide hospitals with full payment for children who are stuck inappropriately on locked psychiatric units or emergency rooms while the state searches for step-down placements.
