The Pavilion at McLean Hospital was created for individuals requiring expert psychiatric and neurologic consultation. It is designed to meet the needs of both the patient and family, offering the kind of choice, flexibility, confidentiality and service not found in today's health-care world of insurance reimbursement.

Who is Right for The Pavilion?

Individuals who would benefit most from The Pavilion are those with behavioral-health issues, such as mood disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety-related disorders, personality disorders or substance use disorder, who desire a comprehensive evaluation and access to McLean Hospital's world-renowned facility. A unique feature of The Pavilion is the ability to care for patients throughout the life cycle, from adolescence through old age.

Comprehensive Evaluative Services

Pavilion

A core element of The Pavilion is access to an unrivaled network of diagnostic services through McLean Hospital and its affiliations with Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.

America's Best Hospitals

The Pavilion offers comprehensive psychiatric, medical and neurologic evaluations and treatment, performed over approximately two weeks. Continued treatment and a longer length of stay are also options, as is access to an array of equally individualized and comprehensive after-care services, including outpatient and residential treatment in comfortable home-like settings. Both the diagnosis and treatment plan take into account a patient's previous medical findings. Special attention is paid to stress management, fitness and diet.
